The original work, Book A, was first created in 2009 as a collection of 160 images where the organization and layout were in part a negotiation between the software used to create the document and the artist’s internal schemas. For The Possession Show (2013) Andrew Spackman re-invigorated the collection with the addition of images from an imagined work, Book B. Book B infiltrates Book A, expanding the collection and breaking apart any attempts to solidify its organization or inter relationships.
